I loved the hotel, its exceptionally comfortable and the location is beautiful in the mountains. They gave me nice room with full size fridge. Location: the property was short walk to the lake, the swimmingpool and the beach on the lake, and the hill.

our stay at the resort in Saint-Donat-de-Montcalm was incredible. The staff were friendly and the private beach with water equipment exceeded our expectations. The condo had everything we needed and the skiing nearby was amazing. The town of St. Donat was also a highlight, with friendly locals and a fantastic bakery/sandwich shop.
Wifi and phone coverage were poor.

Recently stayed at Le Grand R for a week-long getaway to enjoy the snowmobile trail nearby. The hotel was extremely clean and the living space was spacious and comfortable, making us feel right at home. The pillows and beds were top-notch, ensuring a restful sleep. The balconies offered breathtaking views of the lake, and the hotel's location on a sand beach was perfect. We loved that they provided kayaks and pedalos for free, and the amenities like a full-size fridge and stove/oven were a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful, and having a private beach with beach chairs and water equipment added to the overall experience.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

During our Christmas stay, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the quiet location. The private beach was a plus and we loved having access to the water equipment like the paddle boards. the staff was friendly and helpful.
The management of the hotel was quite odd. We felt like we were visiting someone's home instead of staying at a hotel.
